Virtual Folder

NoteExpress Web addresses multi-disciplinary document management through virtual multi-level folders:

• A single bibliographic record can simultaneously exist in multiple folders.
• Any modifications made to a record in one folder instantly propagate to all other folders containing that record.
• Deleting a record from any folder removes it from all associated folders (moved to Trash).

Virtual Folder Linking Procedure

To create virtual folder associations:

• a. Select the paper(s) and right-click
• b. Choose “Link to Folder”
• c. Select the target folder(s) for association
• d. Click Confirm - the paper now simultaneously exists in both original and newly linked folders
