After the v2.6.0 update, the Read Assistant feature becomes available. For references with attachments, switch to the Read Assistant panel in the sidebar to quickly get started.
The panel initially provides quick-action commands such as Quick Overview, Contributions & Innovation, Potential Issues & Author Responses, and AI-Generated Questions, allowing you to rapidly access the corresponding information.
- Quick Overview — quickly grasp what the reference is about.
- Contributions & Innovation and Potential Issues & Author Responses — quickly identify the highlights and limitations of the reference.
- AI-Generated Questions — quickly expand your thinking. The returned questions can be clicked to send directly.
Select text within the reference to send the selected passage to the AI for an overview or explanation.
For returned answers:
- Click the citation marker to quickly navigate to the corresponding position in the document. If navigation is unsuccessful, try selecting a smaller portion of text and attempt again manually.
- Click the copy button in the lower-left corner to copy the answer content.
- Click the note button to directly add the answer as a Markdown note for the current reference.
Next to the quick-action commands, key parsed information from the reference is also provided for quick review.
Note: The first time you use this feature, uploading and parsing will take some time and tokens. Please be patient.
