Source: 从其他软件导入(NE、EndNote、Zotero)

Starting from v2.9.2, NoteExpress Web supports importing data not only from NoteExpress but also from EndNote and Zotero.

How to Import

  1. Click Add ReferenceImport from Other Software. In the pop-up window, select the corresponding software type.
  2. After selecting the software type, choose the database file according to the rules below:
    • NoteExpress: Automatically recognizes the .ndb database under C:\Users\<username>\Documents\NoteExpress\Libraries. You can also manually select a database stored in another location. After selecting the database, NoteExpress Web further recognizes the folders in that database. You can choose which folders to import.
    • EndNote: Manually select the local .enl database.
    • Zotero: Automatically recognizes the local Zotero database.
  3. After import completes, NoteExpress Web preserves the original database’s folder structure, notes, and annotations. It also supports completing unrecognized data based on attachments.

Import Results by Software

Software File Type Import Result
NoteExpress .ndb A top-level folder named NoteExpress Import is created
EndNote .enl A top-level folder named EndNote Import is created
Zotero / (auto-detect) A top-level folder named Zotero Import is created

Notes

  • Starting from v2.9.3, NoteExpress Web supports directly recognizing .ndb files to import NoteExpress data. In an empty folder’s dashed border area, you can also import via .qtqk files. .qtqk files are generated through NoteExpress → Main MenuExport NoteExpress Data Package.
  • EndNote databases converted or created by EndNote X9.3 and later versions are supported.
